Food Allergy Information Web Sites

Information Sites

So, in my many many travels of the ever interesting world wide web, I have come across all sorts of resources on food allergies. In an effort to compile them for our San Francisco Food allergy group, I have decided to do some initial organizing here. These are some of the general information sites I have found on my journey. Some I visit frequently, some not so frequently, but perhaps they can be useful for others. Please let me know if you find any other great sites you use.

(Please excuse my unfortunate layout and formatting problems. I am fighting my computer this morning, and unfortunately my computer is winning.)

While all the sites are wonderful, there are a few I would recommend definitely taking a visit to. The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network is an obvious classic in the world of food allergy web sites, and they have tons of useful information. If you have peanut allergies, Peanut Allergycom has useful message boards. Other great message boards are Kids with Food Allergies, especially good for multiple allergies, and the Food Allergy Support Message Board with tons of great information. If you need 504 help check out their school section.

You've compiled a great list! If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest my blog as a possible addition to your list. It's called Food Allergy Buzz. The url is www.foodallergybuzz.com. I try to provide information on food allergy friendly products and resources. Recent topics have included an informal survey of barbecue sauce manufacturers and a list of "peanut-free" baseball games across the U.S. Thanks!

I would love to add you. Your site looks great. It would be great if you would add my blog to your site also. I am planning on adding to my books list, as well as support groups, resturants, allergy friendy manufacturers, etc. Maybe even a list and run down of other blogs :)

Thanks
Jennifer

Thanks! I will be glad to add your blog to mine as well. It would be great if you can get feedback on restaurants. It seems a bit difficult to get information on restaurant experiences from the food allergy community. I have not had much luck with that topic but it is one I am interested in!
